Whitening Discolored Teeth
Is your smile not quite as brilliantly white as you'd like?
Well, that's easy enough to fix! Tooth bleaching involves placing a solution on the teeth to eliminate stains and discoloration. The solution is held in place by a custom-made, see-through tray that fits over the teeth. Bleaching is a safe, effective and a relatively easy way to achieve a whiter smile.
We have two different bleaching methods available: ZOOM, completed in office and At-Home bleaching trays. Please note that the services and products we provide are not the same as the over-the-counter bleaching products available in your local drug store.
The difference between the two is the strength of the whitening agent and the time it takes to get effective results. ZOOM takes approximately 3 hours in office and you will leave the appointment 3-4 shades light on average. you are sent home with maintenance kit to keep up your whitening routine. The At-Home bleaching kit will also help you achieve a bright white smile, the results just take longer to appear.
Sensitive teeth, those that are chipped or weakened by cavities should be repaired before starting bleaching. Our office knows just what to do to protect your teeth. If you have any questions or would like to know more about tooth whitening please feel free to call our office today at 410-535-5055.
Thank you!
